Air Malta upgrades online booking
National airline Air Malta has updated its online booking system, now allowing passengers to review their bookings without having to contact the airline separately.
So far, passengers could only make a booking on the airline’s website, www.airmalta.com, and had to contact Air Malta separately if they wished to make any changes after that.
The new “manage my booking” facility, however, allows customers to review their reservation as well as amend and/or include additional contact details. They can also include passport details before the date of departure to assist them in their check-in procedures and select their special meals at no additional cost up to 24 hours before departure.
Customers travelling on Air Malta scheduled flights can manage their booking online just by entering the airline booking reference and the surname.
“Following the encouraging feedback on our recently launched online check-in through our web portal and mobile check-in, we went a step further and are now offering our customers the facility of managing their own booking through our web portal,” Air Malta CEO Joe Cappello said.
“With the introduction of this new facility and investment in innovative technologies we are reaffirming our commitment to our passengers by offering them a seamless process from making the initial booking until they get on the plane,” he added.
