124 gas cylinders found in Luqa garages

Żabbar District police have launched an investigation following the discovery of a substantial number of gas cylinders in garages in Luqa on Wednesday morning.
Following a tip-off, police searched the site, a residential area, and discovered 124 cylinders in 3 garages in Triq il-Wilġa and Triq il-Gudja.
The raids, which started at around 0930h, were led by Superintendent Carmel Bartolo and Insepctor Fabian Fleri.
Three men are being questioned in connection with the discovery, while investigations are ongoing.
