They arrived in London on Thursday and have visited the Franciscan nuns who have taken care of Maltese patients and their relatives in London for the past 50 years.

The President said that the Community Chest Fund, who this year will be directly responsible for the Istrina production has always been close to the patients who needed care outside the Maltese territory as well as to their relatives.

The President and Mrs Abela are expected to return to Malta on Monday.
