The delegation is being led by Malta Enterprise and is supported by the Libyan General Union of Chambers of Commerce and HSBC Bank.

During a courtesy visit to the Libyan Under Secretary for TradeTaher M.Sarkez by Maltese ambassador George Cassar and officials from Malta Enterprise, the Maltese-Libyan Chamber of Commerce and the Malta Chamber of Commerce, Enterprise and Industry, cooperation in various sectors was discussed, including infrastructure, education, protection and sustainability of marine wealth, fisheries and industry.

Particular reference was made to ways to promote joint ventures betweel Libyan and Maltese companies.
