GO hits a 16-month high of €1.22
GO registered an increase of 1.67% on a turnover of 14,730 shares to close at €1.22. Equity was last negotiated at this level on 31 August 2011.
Plaza Centres was the only other equity to close higher as the equity edged up 1.85% on a significant volume of 500,000 shares to finish the last session of the week at €0.55.
HSBC declined by 0.33% across two deals to close at €2.74 whilst Bank of Valletta lost 1.03% of its value to close at €2.41.
Malta International Airport closed a fraction of a cent lower at €1.79,9 with just 1,200 shares exchanging hands.
RS2 gave back all of Wednesday’s session gains, down 2.38% to place as the worst performer for the day, with just one single deal being struck to close at €0.82.
Crimsonwing continued to trade at the €0.57 level with best outstanding offers now at €0.58.
MaltaPost traded in a tight range between €0.91,9 and €0.92 to finish unchanged at the €0.92 level.
The MSE index finished the week in negative territory shedding 1.73% or 56.317 index points to 3187.879.
