Stefan Scerri, a recent graduate in ICT has been announced as the winner of the annual Malta Internet Foundation Award by the Malta Internet Foundation

Stefan Scerri’s proposal was entitled “A Smart Parking Advisor using Mobile Technology” and used mobile technology and machine-learning techniques to advice the user of any occupied car park spaces. It also incorporated learned user profiles so users are directed to parking slots that are most likely to suit their particular timetables.

Stefan Scerri, recently graduated from the University of Malta and is a business applications developer at iMovo Ltd.
