Maltapost at 24-week High

Maltapost shares hit a new 24-week high of €0.90 during today's session gaining 15.38% as six trades totalling just over 65,000 shares were executed in the postal operator’s equity.  On Tuesday the company published its financial statements for the year ended September 30, 2012 and recommended the payment of a final net dividend of four cents (€0.04) per share which will be paid on January 10, 2013.

Middlesea shares recorded a 5.71% increase in its share price on a turnover of 2,787 shares traded across two deals to close at a 3-week high of €0.74 .

Medserv also edged higher adding 2.60% to its value on a single trade of 3,000 shares to close at €3.95 .

On the other hand BOV declined by 2.02% to €2.38 while IHI and MIA eased lower by 1.14% and 0.22% respectively.

Overall the MSE index lost 0.38% of its value to close at 3190.985 index points.
