The MSE index closes below the 3300 level
The MSE index finished Wednesday’s session 0.53% lower to close at 3295.032.
International Hotel Investments sustained a decline of 4.94% on a single deal of 1,601 shares to close at €0.75,1.
On the other hand, Lombard Bank placed as the best performer for the day as the equity edged up 4.33% to finish Wednesday’s session at €1.99,8.
Major Banks moved in opposite directions with HSBC moving 0.25% lower to €2.74 and Bank of Valletta gaining 0.67% to its value to close at €2.27.
GO closed a fraction of a cent higher on a total turnover of 9,500 shares to close at a 52-week high of €1.44.
Just under 120,000 shares were negotiated in FIMBank shares pushing the equity 1.02% higher to close at US$0.99.
Malta International Airport announced a profit before tax of €19,463,050 for the financial year ended 31 December 2012 representing an increase of 2.85% on the previous year. The Board of Directors resolved to propose a final gross dividend of €0.061538 (net €0.040) per share. The equity closed unchanged at €1.82.
SanTumas Shareholdings continued to trade at the €1.70 level whilst 44,346 MaltaPost shares exchanged hands without affecting the last traded price of €1.02.
