The MSE index finishes the week at a 52-week high of 3303.475

The MSE index registered a week on week increase of 1.05% to close Friday’s session at a 52-week high of 3303.475.

MIDI placed as the best performer of the day as the equity edged up 3.45% on a turnover of 148,000 shares to close at €0.30.

International Hotel Investments moved in further positive territory gaining 1.12% across two trades to close at €0.79.

Malta International Airport hit a 52-week high as the equity registered an increase of 1.12% to close at €1.81.

HSBC continued to trade at the €2.74 level whilst Bank of Valletta moved marginally higher by 0.13% to close at €2.27,8.

Lombard Bank added 0.48% to its value on turnovers exceeding 32,000 shares to close at €1.89.

Plaza Centres was the only equity to close lower, down 0.85% to end the week at €0.58,5.

FIMBank and MaltaPost were the only other active equities of the day with both closing unchanged at US$1.00 and €1.05 respectively.
