Positive session on the MSE with nine equities recording gains
Simonds Farsons Cisk advanced by 0.78% on a turnover of 2,250 shares to hit a fresh multi-year high of €2.60.
MaltaPost also registered gains as the equity edged up 0.96% on a significant volume of 67,487 shares to close at a 20-month high of €1.05.
6pm Holdings moved further higher up 2.5% across three deals to finish Wednesday’s session at a fresh 52-week high of £0.41.
Bank of Valletta added 0.22% to its value with just under 20,000 shares exchanging hands and Lombard Bank closed 0.48% higher at €1.89,9 on a single trade of 15,000 shares.
GO inched up 0.36% on a total volume of 4,000 shares to close at its one-year high of €1.38,5.
36,500 Malta International Airport shares swapped hands across five deals with the share price appreciating by 0.79% to close at €1.79.
Grand Harbour Marina recovered all of Friday’s losses up 1.06% across six deals to close at €1.90.
One single deal was executed in MIDI pushing the equity 3.85% higher to close at €0.27.
Crimsonwing and RS2 were the only other active equities of the day with both closing unchanged at €0.55 and €0.86 respectively.
