Positive session for Plaza Centres, Middlesea Insurance and GO shares
Plaza Centres placed as the best performer of the day as the equity edged up 2.59% across two deals to finish Wednesday’s session at €0.59,5.
Another two trades were executed in Middlesea Insurance shares pushing the equity 1.27% higher to hit the €0.80 level. The Board of Directors of Middlesea Insurance is due to meet on 27 February 2013 to consider and approve the Company’s Audited Financial Statements for the financial year ended 31 December 2012.
GO moved marginally higher to recover part of the previous session’s losses, up 0.74% on a turnover of 5,500 shares to end the session at €1.36.
HSBC declined by 0.07% to close at €2.72,1 whilst Bank of Valletta edged down 0.35% with volumes traded just below 12,000 shares to close at €2.27.
Grand Harbour Marina continued to trade at the €1.90 level whilst a single deal was executed in MIDI without affecting the last traded price of €0.26.
Trading in the Malta Government Stocks exceeded €1 million which were negotiated across 32 deals for a total consideration of €1,195,188.
