Seabank Resort & Spa ranks in top 25 hotels in Europe
The Seabank Resort & Spa has just won two TripAdvisor Awards – the Travelers’ Choice 2013 Award and the 2013 Excellence Award, less than two years after its reopening.
Yet the Seabank received an even more prestigious recognition by TripAdvisor. It has been ranked as one of the top 25 all-inclusive resorts in Europe, placing at number 17. The Seabank was competing with around 2,500 all-inclusive hotels across Europe.
TripAdvisor is the world’s most renowned and sought after travel website. Its ratings are closely followed by both travelers and tourism industry insiders alike since they are compiled exclusively from the views of millions of clients themselves.
Silvio Debono, chairman, Seabank Group: “We are overjoyed with this award and ranking. Having our flagship hotel placed amongst the top 25 all-inclusive resorts in Europe surpasses all our expectations. Our mission statement revolves around one word: excellence. That our own European clients have recognized this fills us with great satisfaction and encourages us to keep setting our sights even higher. The result also confirms the trend that more and more families and couples are seeking the all-inclusive package to get the most out of their holiday. Finally, my heartfelt thanks go to our entire team – management and staff – for their talent, effort and dedication. They are the ones who placed the Seabank Resort & Spa on the European map.”
Mr. Andrew Agius Muscat, MHRA CEO: “This is a fantastic result which does not only justify the vision of the owners in creating an all inclusive hotel in Malta but also re enforces the fact that ultimately quality is what tourists expect in everything they do and everywhere they go!”
Mr. Josef Formosa Gauci, MTA CEO: “On behalf of the Malta Tourism Authority it is my pleasure to congratulate the management and staff of the Seabank All Inclusive Resort & Spa for winning the prestigious Travelers’ Choice Award 2013 in the Top All-Inclusive Resorts in Europe category. Hon. Karmenu Vella, Minister for Tourism also welcomed in a positive way this excellent achievement by Seabank Hotel barely after its first two years of operation. He described this prestigious award as a deserved recognition of Maltese quality and Entrepreneurship in the Tourism industry. Furthermore this clearly positions Malta at the forefront in the all-inclusive sector which continues to grow both in quantity but more importantly in quality.
