No Snow/No Alps will be playing a gig at V-Gen Paceville on November 14, before they head off for their tour around Milan.

Five years since they came together, No Snow/ No Alps have performed in several local venues and festivals, while clocking several shows in Denmark, Austria, Milan, Paris and London.

In 2008, Nosnow/Noalps recorded their first EP, entitled ‘Just Rock’, recorded, produced and engineered by award-winning David Vella (of Beangrowers, Rammenstein, Phillip Boa & the Voodoo Club fame) and released independently. Singles and videos from the EP ranked high in the top local radio charts and consequently it was voted best EP of 2008 in the MMI Podcast’s annual listeners’ poll, among several nominations in both the Malta Music Awards, and the Bay Music Awards.

In 2011 the band recorded and released their debut album Romantikpoloitik, departing slightly from their ska influences in favour of more focused pop melodies. The album and single reached the top of the local charts and were also nominated several times over and awarded twice in 2011, again at the Malta Music Awards and Bay Music Awards.

The current line-up consists of Nick Morales on guitar and vocals; Marie Borg on keyboards and vocals; Alan Portelli on bass and Manuel Pulis on drums.
