€215 million to be allocated to tourism sector - Lawrence Gonzi
€215 million will be allocated to the tourism sector to help enhance the industry, Prime Minister Lawrence Gonzi said.
Dr Gonzi was addressing a political activity in St George’s Square, Valletta. He spoke about lowering taxes and the positive result for investment which it would bring. He acknowledged that there are a number of undecided voters out there, adding that Labour’s mask will eventually be removed and they would show their true colours.
Minister for Tourism, Culture and the Environment Minister Mario de Marco also addressed the crowd, arguing that said that Air Malta had up new markets in new destinations. He emphasised the importance the airline has played in the broken records year on year.
Valletta Mayor and PN candidate Alexiei Dingli spoke about the Government, adding that it was creating quality jobs through the number of scholarships it has provided
