332,942 voting documents have been issued for the coming election, out of 332,963 eligible voters.

The police have been travelling door to door delivering these documents and managed to hand out 308,002 documents.

In 2008, the total amount of eligible voters was 315,357, with 294,214 having voted. Voting will then commence on Saturday.

Up until last Saturday, documents were available from Police Stations or Local Councils in Iklin, Lija, Marsaskala, Mellieha, Pembroke, Pieta, Swieqi, Ta' Xbiex, and Fontana.
