Thursday March 7, is the last day in which voting documents may be collected from the Electoral Office, Evans Building, St. Elmo Square, Valletta, and from the Identity Cards Office, 28A, St. Francis Square, Victoria, Gozo, for voters registered in Gozo.  

Office hours for Thursday shall be from 08:00h to 14:00h and from 15:00h until midnight.   Any person collecting the voting document must call in personal at the Electoral Commission’s Office to collect it from the Electoral Commissioners. These voters have to present their identity card and no other document will suffice for this purpose. The Electoral Commission is providing door delivery of document by Electoral Commissioners for sick persons who are unable to go to the Electoral Office.

EU voters who are not Maltese the Residence Document shall be accepted in the case of Local Council elections.

Voters who are unable to walk should be brought to the Electoral Office, Evans    Building,  Valletta and an  accompanying persons can present the  voter’s  ID Card to one of the Commissioners so the commissioner goes to the car to deliver the vote. The same service applies to voters in Gozo who are unable to go out of a private car near the AD Cards Office, 28A, St. Francis Square, Victoria, Gozo. 

In cases where elderly and sick persons are unable to be brought by a private car to collect their document, the Commission shall make an effort to deliver the document at their residence.  For this purpose, the Electoral Commission requests that the voters themselves or a relative of these voters should call or contact the Electoral Office on 25583127/8 to furnish the necessary details.

Without the voting document, no one would be allowed to vote on polling day.
