Minister for Infrastructure, Transport and Communications Austin Gatt’s failure to declare his Swiss bank account has dealt a further blow to his credibility, Labour Leader Joseph Muscat announced.

The Minister’s version of events alters every time, Dr Muscat accused whilst attending a political activity in Siggiewi, linking this case with that of former PN MP Lino Gauci Borda, who had not declared assets and was forced to resign.

Joseph Muscat emphasised the need to introduce a Whistle Blower’s act, further reiterating the PL’s pledge to enact such a law, along with party financing laws and the removal of time-barring.

Dr Muscat also mentioned Air Malta, indicating that the PL would have the airline target bigger markets, in coordination with other airlines.
