Prime Minister Lawrence Gonzi pointed out that Malta’s healthcare is the “envy of Europe” in a meeting with his supporters in Attard.

Gonzi applauded former Health Minister Louis Deguara and others before him for the work they did in this sector. He added that Malta managed to provide a free and complete quality healthcare while also cutting the deficit.

On the other hand, Gonzi added that Labour was constantly slamming the health sector at the expense of workers who were working hard to do their job.

Gonzi pointed out that "In America, Barack Obama is still struggling to introduce free healthcare."

Once again, the Prime Minister urged people not to risk everything that Malta had achieved by giving power to people who do not choose according to Malta’s best interest.
