GWU: People wanted change
The General Workers Union said that the overwhelming victory proves that the people wanted a change in the way the country was being run.
The Union was praising the new Prime Minister for his success in the elections. The GWU is convinced that Dr Muscat will keep his word and reduce energy tariffs and emphasised that the Union will be working with the new Government to ensure that these promises are made reality.
The GWU will remain vigilant in order to see the promises implemented and that discrimination and injustice made towards its members be addressed.
