PL Leader Joseph Muscat has admitted that whilst hearing an interview regarding the PL club drug case last Sunday, he realised the case the PN were referring to was telated to the Hal Safi club.

Joseph Muscat made the comments just hours after the PN revealed that he had lied about his knowledge of the drug case. Dr Muscat confirmed that his Deputy Leader Toni Abela, had in fact informed him about the case at the time, adding that people of good standing had told the Labour Party that the barman was involved in drugs and so was dismissed from the club.

The PL Leader mentioned that the barman had requested to be reinstated however was denied, adding that the man had tried to implicate others in the case. He continued that it is now up to the PN to decide whether the man was or was not involved in drugs. "He had asked for a photo and now I understand why," Dr Muscat said explaining that this would have been the story should he have reinstated the barman.
