Joseph Muscat calls for campaign on policies
PL Leader Joseph Muscat has appealed for a campaign based on ideas, rather than political mudslinging.
Dr Muscat was addressing a political activity in Xghajra, where he spoke about the PL's pledge to introduce the Whistle Blowers Act, a law regarding party financing and the removal of time-barring in corruption cases. He mentioned that these will be implemented before Summer, should the PL be elected.
The Labour Leader also spoke about his party's energy policy, stating that the PN have no clue what to do on the topic as they have no clear plan. He also spoke about art and culture, mentioning a number of proposals on the issues.
Dr Muscat told the MCAST students to ignore the attacks being made on them, adding that no party should have a monopoly on students' votes. He mentioned that the PL is the 'natural home' for students as they will have the right to air their views freely.
