PL Leader Joseph Muscat has announced that he will stand by PL Deputy Leader Toni Abela's decision not to report the drug incident at the Hal Safi PL club.

Dr Muscat was visiting the Kalkara boatyard when he stated that all the PL had on hand was the word of one man against another. Due to lack of evidence, the PL Leader dismissed the barmans' claims.

Speaking about the Maritime industry, Dr Muscat emphasised its potential for growth, which could result in the creation of a number of quality jobs. He described his party's proposals regarding the maritime industry, arguing that he wants to establish Malta as the maritime centre of the Mediterranean.
