Labour has learnt its lessons and is ready to govern, PL Leader Joseph Muscat announced tonight during a political activity in Gharghur.

Dr Muscat expressed his satisfaction at the reception he received at the MCAST debate earlier today. He reiterated the second chance proposal for students who fail, to still receive the stipend.

The PL Leader spoke about the PN's new billboard which depicts the party leaders with their faces painted, one in red and one in blue. He condemned the billboard, emphasising that this kind of attitude depicts the PN's tribal politics, and keeps them living in the past.

Speaking about oil procurement, Dr Muscat questioned whether Dr Gonzi knew something was going on when he removed Tancred Tabone removed from the board in 2005. He continued by dismissing Minister for Finance, the Economy and Investment Tonio Fenech's remarks that he was bound by law not to intervene in the investigation, adding that the Minister looked into the case once the story broke in the press.
