Dr Joseph Muscat was sworn in as Prime Minister of Malta this morning during an official ceremony held at the Presidential Palace in Valletta.

People who yesterday celebrated in the streets and attended the meetings at Hamrun and on Fossos have today rallied to attend the event in the Capital city. Armed with banners, flags and the by now infamously PL Election adapted song “New Tomorrow” people are assembling towards the hub of Malta, St George's Square. The atmosphere among people is that jubilation and overwhelming joy, the crowd is peaceful and the people are all awaiting their chosen leader.
