MEPA reform to reduce bureaucracy - Joseph Muscat
The separation of the environment and planning sections of MEPA would result in reduced bureaucracy and more accountability.
Dr Muscat was visiting a family in Swatar, where he explained that the Church had requested the separation of the Environment prior to the PL’s proposal, adding that the voice of environmentalists would be strengthened.
Dr Muscat emphasised the reduction in bureaucracy that this proposal would bring.
