PL Leader Joseph Muscat must answer for his defence of PL Deputy Leader Toni Abela regarding the drug case and why, having known of the case, he decided not to report the incident to the police, Prime Minister Lawrence Gonzi  said.

Dr Gonzi was visiting the Higher Secondary School in Naxxar, where he explained that Labour was trying to throw mud at the Government on the oil procurement issue whilst the PN had immediately reported such cases to the respective authorities.

The PN Leader accused PL candidate Manuel Mallia of his possible involvement in the oil commission incident when he was legal councel to the Farrugia brothers.
