PL Leader Joseph Muscat has urged those considering not voting to vote, as a no-vote is not a strong enough message.

Dr Muscat was being interviewed on One television, where he emphasised that the PL has remained the underdog. He explained that the election will not be won in the polls or surveys which have been made, but rather by peoples votes.

Dr Muscat described the PL’s roadmap, calling it concrete and costed. The PL had been heavily scrutinized by the PN and although people might not agree with the party’s proposals, they can work with the party, he said.

The PL Leader spoke about further training for workers as well as education. He emphasised that 4,600 youths are currently unemployed.

Dr Muscat pledged that a Labour Cabinet will not take the €500 weekly increase, calling this a good example of bad practice. He promised that a PL Government will work for increased accountability and transparency, stating that MP’s will be paid according to their attendance in Parliament.
