The PL has this afternoon collected €582,499 from its supporters in a final bid to finace the last month of the party’s electoral campaign.

With the March 9 election on the door step the PL, today held an open day at the Party’s Head Quarters in Hamrun were people could donate money through phone ins or by personally visiting the building. An entertainment programme featuring local talent was ongoing though the evening together with the sale of party merchandise.

PL Leader Joseph Muscat showed his appreciation for all the donations received and thanked all the helpers involved in the fund collection marathon explaining the Party has difficult challenges ahead. Dr Muscat also showed his gratitude towards former Deputy Leader Anglu Farrugia who accepted to represent the PL in foreign conference.
