The PL commits itself to retain the reduction of registration tax of Euro Five vehicles which although proposed in the budget, it was not implemented when the Budget bill failed, Joseph Muscat promised this morning.

Speaking during the first political event of the day at Burmarrad Commercials, the PL leader said that the association of car importers had raised their concerns with PL over this proposal not being implemented, “however there are legal ways for the reduction of registration tax of Euro Five vehicles, to be implemented without parliamentary approval of the budget and we expect the government to apply these measure and unblock the current stagnant situation for car importers” Dr Muscat held.

The next event of the day for PL is a press conference in Zabbar Road, Fgura during which Joseph Muscat is expected to talk about more proposals related to energy and the environment.
