PL pledge to work closely with MUT
The PL have pledged to work closely with the Malta Union of Teachers (MUT) if elected, PL Leader Joseph Muscat announced this afternoon.
Dr Muscat emphasised that a large number of proposals were taken from the MUT and said that Labour would ensure a campaign on the important role on teachers be held.
Joseph Muscat described the MUT as an essential partner to success, adding that he condemned any violence against the Union which had occurred in the 80s.
