PL - PN has still not issued any proposals
The Nationalist Party is in a state of panic after the PL has put forward its energy proposals and the PN have not, PL Leader Joseph Muscat explained in an interview by Miriam Dalli at Mqabba.
"We have put forward our energy proposals and have received constant criticism but where are their proposals?" he asked.
Joseph Muscat promised that there will be no pay rise for ministers, explaining that he told members of his party to contest the election in order to serve the people and not for the money, adding that he is sure that there are MP's on both sides who run for office with the right intentions.
The PL leader explained that the new energy policy he proposed yesterday will not bring any tax increase for the people and confirmed that the government had indeed revealed a gas plan, however it would take till 2018 to fully investigate this option and it is not feesible to wait for so long.
Speaking on alternative energy, the PL leader explained that wind energy will still be looked into, however solar energy will be a Labour government's main focus.
Dr Muscat told supporters that the PL is the underdog and "we will continue working to the last minute to convince people to vote for us".
