Another proposal is that a 15% tax rate on part-time jobs will be paid on the first €10,000, to motivate people to declare their part-time jobs. Each proposal will be presented online to let people give their feedback and allows the government to know what the people think about it.
Corruption has to be eradicated from politics and PL is committed to remove prescription law defending politicians, this will result in more honest people in politics, said PL Leader. As more time goes by, more people are fighting for their rights, said Dr Muscat. He also named online movements that arose to fight against the introduction of ACTA, which PN had previously agreed to.
The new government is for accountability and will review the system each year to make sure the system is working for the people and not the other way round, concluded Dr Muscat.
