PL will support the tourism industry - Joseph Muscat
A new Government will support all stakeholders in the tourism industry, PL Leader Joseph Muscat pledged whilst visiting the Intercontinental Hotel in St Julians.
Dr Muscat said that whilst tourism number had risen, the profitability of hotelers needs to rise, adding that this will be accomplished through reducing energy tariffs. Higher profits will result in the safeguarding of work and the creation of new jobs.
The PL Leader spoke about the importance of Air Malta as well as low cost airlines.
