A fight in the Rabat PL Club late last night resulted in a 37-year-old man from Marsa being taken to Mater Dei Hospital and is in critical condition, reports have revealed.

The fight took place at 21:30h at the PL St Paul’s street club. There were four people involved in the figh and police were called in to calm the situation. PL Leader Joseph Muscat asked the media not to blow the matter out of proportion.

The other people involved were a 49-year-old man from Santa Venera, a 52-year-old man from Msida and a 41-year-old woman from Cospicua.
