Reports in local media have read that PL MEP Joseph Cuschieri, Labour candidates Deborah Schembri and Nikita Zammit Alamango, have been called in by the CID for questioning in conjunction with a breach of electoral silence yesterday.

Sources close to the Labour Party confirmed with di-ve.com that PL candidates have been called in for questioning, regarding allegations of breaching the 'Day of Reflection' by posting politically related information.

When contacted by di-ve.com, the police refused to comment on the issue and did not hint as to whether any other candidates will be called in for questioning throughout the day. Columnist Daphne Caruana Galizia was arrested last night and taken in for questioning by the CID, after having posted political comments on the day of reflection. Journalist Lou Bondi had gone to confront the police during the act and posted the video below.
