Updated: PN launch new campaign song
The campaign song, named after the PN logo 'Futur fis-Sod - Xogħol * Saħħa * Edukazzjoni' was released today and features a number of Maltese singers.
The song is sung in Maltese and encompasses what the PN have achieved over the past five years as well as trying to explain the PN's values. The song is nearly four and a half minutes long.
PN General Secretary Paul Borg Olivier explained that the lyrics are written by Joe Chricop.
The song was unveiled during a speech in Nadur, Gozo.
PN Leader Lawrence Gonzi spoke at the political event in Nadur, further explaining sections of his plans for Gozo.
The Gozitan plans were announced yesterday afternoon. He added that a ferry service between the Grand Harbour and Gozo will be implemented if he is elected, which would help cater for cruise-ship passengers as well. In addition, he will give incentives for cruise liners to stop in Gozo.
He made it clear that the tourism sector is of the utmost importance for him and his party. Conference tourusm will also be an area which a PN government would try and bolster on Malta's sister island by giving incentives to help cater for this niche.
