What changes will Muscat make? - Lawrence Gonzi

PN leader Lawrence Gonzi has challenged PL leader Joseph Muscat to reveal what changes he will make in the tourism, IT and educational sectors, during a TV discussion this morning.

“I am worried because the person who is put himself forward to try and lead the country for the next five years is failing to reveal his vision for the country," he explained, continuing that if no changes are to be made then the PL should allow the PN to continue leading.

He expressed the PN’s determination to prevent Malta’s economy from collapsing like other countries in Europe and promised, that if re-elected, the PN would create 20,000 more jobs.

He highlighted the recent revelation by experts who have said that there is no relation between Delimara and Malta’s cancer rate, calling on the Opposition leader to make a public apology.

Minister for Fair Competition and Consumers Jason Azzopardi explained that it is vital for Malta to keep its finances stable, explaining a number of schemes which the PN had planned to introduce in the budget to help small business.

Minister for Tourism, Culture and the Environment Mario De Marco explained that Malta’s success in the tourism industry came about due to overseas advertising and schemes introduced by the government.
