Two female artists, Sue Nightingale and Rachel Galea joined forces to present a high calibre exhibition of their recent works at the Culture Office Foyer, Banca Giuratale, Victoria. The exhibition baptised ‘Two of a Kind’ brings together two completely different scenarios.

Sue Nightingale’s paintings pays tribute to the horse, an animal which in Nightingale’s own words have loved and painted since she was seven, paintings that seem to have be finished with no effort at all, like a river flowing. When one looks closely at Sue’s paintings one can feel a positive energy within himself.  The horse, painted in her works represents splendid features of this most gorgeous animal.

On the other side of the coin, Rachel Galea, an artist in her own style, is presenting a new collection of expressive landscape paintings, featuring the local landscape with its wayside chapels, valleys and the Mediterranean sea. One cannot help notice the beautiful countryside with Gozitan villages in the background. Rachel’s works are a dialogue with the soul through her expressive landscapes.
