ATA, the Italian Automotive Technical Association, in collaboration with SAE (Society of Automotive Engineers), will organise the 10th edition of the Formula SAE Italy & Formula Electric Italy in Parma this weekend. The competition will challenge teams of university students from the most prestigious universities of the world to design, construct and race a small, formula style, autocross racing car.

University of Malta Racing is made up of 35 students, which study different courses at the University of Malta. Having been brought together by their love of cars, engineering and passion to represent their country and university, each student will apply their personal skills and expertise, to make this project truly authentic.

The €30,000 racing car built by this group of university students, will be up against 75 other teams in their category. They will be judged across a series of different tests based on the car’s quality of design and engineering efficiency, as well as the team’s aptitude to prepare a marketing plan and sell the race car to the judges.

Last weekend, Attrans Ltd. was honoured to help these students export their delicate merchandise to Italy, and deliver their racing car, safe and sound.
