PianoForte in China Brings Bronze Medal
PianoForte, one of the Camilleri Wines range, has recently won the Bronze Medal at the FHC China Fair 2012.
Louie Camilleri, General Manager at Camilleri Wines said, “It is a great achievement for Camilleri Wines to be recognised and awarded in China. This shows Maltese potential, not only in SMEs like ourselves but also in Maltese agriculture and grapes, since all our wines are made 100% from Maltese grapes.”
The PianoForte wine is one of the premium wines produced by the winemakers. This wine is produced specifically to accompany food and is usually produced as a blend. The winemaker is responsible for proposing a series of blends after choosing high quality grapes that are appropriate for this brand. A dedicated team goes through these blends and chooses one that is most suitable for this particular market.
The winning blend of PianoForte 2010 is that of Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Tempranillo; a blend that was awarded the Bronze Medal.
