A beautiful and unusually balmy Sunday morning greeted the hundreds of participants at the solidarity walk held in support of TV personality and mother of two Nirvana Azzopardi.

Lately, Ms Azzopardi has been diagnosed with the most aggressive form of breast cancer and she now requires expensive treatment.  This walk commenced at the Love Monument, Spinola Bay, St. Julian’s and ended at Qui-Si-Sana, Sliema. Throughout the activity, various celebrities and personalities, as well as many colleagues from Enemalta Corporation, where Nirvana currently works, took part.   A minimum of five euros was collected from each participant.
