Representatives of a number of leading private firms and parastatal companies participate in the exhibition and offer their support each year.

The Faculty of Engineering offers tuition and supervision to about 477 students at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. The number of postgraduate students is significant, totalling 51 at Master level and 18 at Ph.D. level.

The Faculty is also very active in research in all fields covered by its departments. In fact, the number of international publications involving Faculty of Engineering staff (journal papers and proceedings) over a 21 month period from January 2011 are in excess of 120.
