71,000 old Yellow Pages books collected for recycling

Yellow Pages is set to export 110 tonnes of paper to be recycled at a mill in Canada, having successfully completed a nationwide collection of its old books, replacing them with the new edition of the Yellow Pages.

Almost 71,000 books were collected this year, which amount to 7.2% more books collected than last year.

In recognition, for its ongoing efforts to contribute for the preservation of our environment, Yellow Pages (Malta) Ltd was awarded the Conservation Award for Sustainable Development  in 2011.

Yellow Pages thanked the general public for its collaboration throughout the distribution and collection of this unique publication.
