28 NGOs benefit from €700,000

€11.7 million have beed granted to 34 local NGOs through the NGO Fund over the past five years, Minister for Justice, Dialogue and the Family Chris Said held this morning during the presentation of a further €700,000 to 28 organisations.

Minister Said expressed his grattitude and satisfaction and the work carried out by these organisations which enhce the quality of life of a number of people through voluntary work.

The financial help amounting to €700,000 was passed to Istitut Paulo Freire, Fondazzjoni Jeanne Antide, Fondazzjoni Malta Guide Dogs, Fra Diegu Day Care Centre, Fondazzjoni Equal Partners, Dar il-Kaptan, Moviment ta’ Kana, Dar Merħba Bik, Fondazzjoni Nazareth, Fondazzjoni Suret il-Bniedem, Fondazzjoni Richmond, SAS Azzjoni Kattolika, SOS Malta, Victim Support Group Malta, YMCA Malta, Millennium Chapel, Malta Autism Centre, Dar Jeanne Antide, Caritas Malta, Dar Osanna Pia, INSPIRE, Dar il-Wens, Dar tal-Providenza, Dar Qalb ta’ Ġesu’, Fondazzjoni Mid-Dlam għad-Dawl, Muscular Dystrophy Group, Għaqda tat-Trasport tal-Morda f’Lourdes and to the Wanting and Waiting Support Group.
