A 45 year old man from Zebbug was this afternoon rushed to mater Dei Hospital after falling from a height of two storeys in a construction site in Santa Venera.

At around 13:00h the Police were informed that an accident had happened in Carrob Street, Santa Venera and primary investigations showed that the man was working on site when for reasons unknown he fell.

The man was recovered at MDH were it resulted that he had suffered grievous injuries but is not in danger of loss of life.

Police investigations are ongoing.
