Air Malta plane stuck in Heathrow
One of Air Malta's planes is currently stranded at London's Heathrow Airport due to a technical fault.
The aircraft was due to arrive at 15.35h, but remained in London due to a problem with the engine, which took longer than expected to repair.
A replacement aircraft was sent by Air Malta to pick up the passengers, who are now expected to arrive in Malta at 02.30h.
An Air Malta spokesman said that safety considerations were the number one priority for the airline, but apologised for the inconvenience caused by the delay.
