The Nationalist Party (PN) said today that it is amazed at how Labour Party (PL) Leader Joseph Muscat can talk about accountability without highlighting what measures he will be taking against PL spokesperson Charles Buhagiar, who had stated that a project by Mosta Local Council would cost €187,000 when the final amount turned out to be €333,000.

PN said that such talk of transparency and accountability together with demands for heads to roll show the true colours of the PL leader’s attitude of “do as I say, not as I do”.

PN held that it is Joseph Muscat’s duty to publicly state what measures PL will be taking in view of Charles Buhagiar’s lack of accountability as otherwise PL’s silence will continue to raise eyebrows in this regard.
