Parts of Sannat, Xewkija, Victoria, Xlendi, Munxar and Fontana had no electricity supply yesterday evening due to a cable fault which was reported at around 22.30h.

Supply started to be restored at around 00.30h, and by 01.40h, Sannat, Xewkija and Victoria were reenergized through an alternative supply.

Whilst inspecting overhead lines and restoring supply to the rest of the localities, Enemalta employees noticed a high tension pole leaning towards a low tension fault.

They repaired the pole and supply was fully restored at 08.00h.
