EWC calls GWU agreement 'historic'
The European Work Council (EWC) for Arriva workers have called the collective agreement that the General Workers Union (GWU) signed on behalf of Maltese Arriva workers as historic.
This was said in a letter sent by Chairman of the EWC Mark Yexley and Deputy Chairman Sam Chapman to GWU Secretary for Maritime and Aviation.
The GWU had taken immediate action when it saw that there were mistakes with the workers’ pay, due to technical errors in the system. These errors were quickly corrected.
