Gozo, Mellieha roads re-opened
The road leading from Xewkija to Victoria, in Gozo, and a road in Mellieha were inaugurated today by the Minister of Transport, Infrastructure and Telecommunication Austin Gatt, together with Giovanna Debono, Minister for Gozo and Chris Said, Minister for Justice, Dialogue and the Family.
The Minister admitted to “having quite a few problems with these roads. Particularly, in Gozo, we found quite a few historical artefacts which resulted in work progressing quite slowly.
The Gozitan road cost over €12 million while the road in Mellieha cost nearly €8 million.
